Bob Marley

This portrait of Bob Marley represents a step outside of my usual artistic practice, pushing me to explore new techniques and creative approaches. Created as a gift for my cousin, this multi-layer stencil piece reflects the iconic image of Marley while incorporating bold, graphic elements that capture his larger-than-life presence. Each layer was carefully designed to build depth and texture, using contrasting tones to highlight both his features and the spirit he embodied. Through this process, I aimed to balance realism with a more stylized, contemporary edge, merging the traditional portrait form with the raw energy of street art. This project allowed me to experiment with a different style, while also honouring the influence of a cultural icon.
