About Me
Hi, I’m Connor Halligan, a mixed-media artist from Scotland based in Glasgow. My artistic practice combines the expressive energy of street art with the depth of contemporary fine art, resulting in layered works that delve into themes of identity, resilience, memory, and the transformative power of creativity.
I hold a BA (Hons) in Art & Design and a Teaching Qualification in Further Education (TQFE), which allows me to combine my professional artistic practice with my passion for arts education. My work has been exhibited throughout Scotland, including at the Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) in Glasgow, and internationally in Los Angeles.
Alongside my studio practice, I have collaborated with the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival to create public artwork and have completed a variety of public and private mural commissions. Whether exhibiting in galleries, painting large-scale murals, or engaging with communities, I aim to create artwork that is both visually compelling and emotionally meaningful.
At the core of my work is the belief that connection is essential. I believe art has the power to tell stories, spark conversations, and transform personal experiences into something that others can relate to.
